The "S" Family

I got to photograph this lovely family again as little "E" is 9 months now. I love the distinct seasons portrayed in all of their shoots. And I am really enjoying shooting this winter. Usually the winter tones and cold and drab surroundings get me down, but this year I'm loving the challenge of capturing the beauty of winter and relishing the cool tones.

My Kiddos

I did a little scouting around at a new location this afternoon and my kids were willing subjects as usual. This winter I'll be working at a variety of urban locations such as this, as well as some historical sites. I can find color, line and texture in these places that keep the pictures interesting, while the color at least is hard to come by in the natural landscape this time of year.

If they look like they're all nearly the same age...it's because they are! There's only 18 and 19 months between them:)
