Little "P" 9 Weeks

Maternity Sneak Peek

I got to do a maternity session with this beautiful couple this weekend. This was one brave mamma willing to trek around with me in the 36 degree weather and even get a few belly shots...brrrr! It was a lovely evening though, and we got sun and snow in the same hour!

They are welcoming a little girl in a few weeks!

***UPDATE***This new baby girl decided to make her appearance four weeks early! Turns out we got this shoot done in the nick of time! Congrats to the Denny Family!

We found this lone tree that decided to hang on to it's leaves for the winter, and at the same time the sun peeked out for a few minutes to bless us with some warm evening light- it was wonderful! The next few pics don't look like they were taken in February at all, but I assure you they were!

Hannah

patch of sun broke through the snow that was falling...

My Clara

We are cooped up and BORED at home during this cold and dreary weather!

This is my "baby", my youngest, Clara Jan. She'll be four in May. I love to find vintage aprons for her...I have tons of them. I make dresses out of them, or sew them on to other dresses...she has a vintage sort of look about her to me, so I have fun dressing her up:)

Rained IN

This is little "C" at 3 months old...and she was so full of smiles with big bright blue eyes! Our shoot was rained/snowed out two weekends in a row, so we decided to take it indoors before she got any bigger.

I do not have a "studio", nor do I do "studio" shoots- this was just kind of an exception to the rule- and we had a little fun with it getting a variety of different looks!

and I just loved the way it turned out with mom's hand in it:)
